Conduct and Discipline

Fees and Discipline

  • We value discipline and instill the same values to the students. We expect both students and parents to respect the rules and do not cause any disruption to the order and management of the school.

  • Anyone found violating the school’s rules of conduct can be expelled without any liability on the part of the school and any payments made for that term will not be refunded.

  • Any payments already made, such as fees or any other, will not be refunded either in full or in part.

  • School fees and other charges can be increased up to 10% after the end of a semester/session and towards the beginning of a new one. This is done to keep up with the inflation.

General

  • During the working hours of the school, any student already inside the campus, will not be allowed to leave the campus or go back home on their own, under any circumstances. This is done primarily to ensure the safety of the students. In case of emergencies, parents or legal guardians will be contacted, and only after they have acquired principal’s written permission are they allowed to pick up their child and go back home.

  • The school will call the parents or the legal guardians on the registered contact number that they have provided to the school. And only if the parent or legal guardian come to school to pick up their child personally can the child be allowed to leave the campus.

  • If a child cannot attend the school any given day or days, a parent is required to apply for leaves in written and get it approved. We do not recommend absenting the child from the school before prior notice. All such applications from the guardians must be signed by them for the proof of consent.

  • If a student is absent for six days without notification the school, his or her name will be struck off the school rolls without any notice. The student’s name will be put back on the rolls after the parents or legal guardians contact the school and offer a written satisfactory explanation for the absence. This process of re-admission can be initiated with the standard Rs. 500 admission payment.

  • The books that students borrow from the library has to be returned in time. If a student fails to return back the borrowed back after the pre-allocated number of days are over, the fine of Rs. 5 per day will be exercised to ensure fair availability of the books to all the students in timely fashion. We recommend borrowing the book again if the student needs to keep the book for longer periods, but this will only be allowed if the said book is available and no other student needs it in the near future.

  • Teachers assign home work through the daily diary. Parents are advised to go through the daily diary and to help their children do the homework that has been assigned to them. It is also required that the daily diary is signed by the parent every day. It is an effective communication model between teacher and parent but without them having to meet or talk face to face every day.

  • The address and contact numbers of the parents will be registered on the day of admission. Any change in the address, contact numbers, and other details should immediately be informed to the school administration, so that the staff can promptly update all the info in our records. It is very crucial that we have the active and up-to-date communication details, especially in an emergency. For the same reason, we recommend sharing the personal phone numbers of the guardians that they can be reached at all times.

  • The progress report of the students will be shared with parents and it has to be signed by them during parents-teacher meeting. The report will be handed over to the parents at the end of annual exams or the annual sessions.

  • We strong advise to have a day of absence if your child has cold or flu or any other contagious diseases and to look after the child at home. This is ideal for their health and for the health of other students at school who could be at the risk of catching flu or other infections. It is also mandatory that you inform the school if the child is sick and is staying at home.

  • The school observes the holidays declared by the state administration and also listed holidays by the school itself. Parents should not send their children to school on any declared holidays.

  • Although, the school takes all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the students, the school does not take any responsibility for accidental injuries or any inadvertent events that are unfortunately part of our chaotic universe.

  • The principal reserves the right to remove or suspend any student from the school if his or her conduct violates the rules or the behavior causes disruption to the order and harmony of the school, and might cause problems to the others as well.

Withdrawal

  • If for any reason, a parent has to withdraw their child from the school, they must inform the school in writing before or at least on the last day of the school for which the fee has been paid. If the parent fails to inform by the last day of the month, the fee for the next month has to be paid.

  • Fee already paid for the admission or re-admission is not refundable either in full or in part. We advise parents to consider all the factors and do their due diligence before making the payment. This is to ensure proper functioning of the school system and to save both the administration and parents from inconvenience that could have been avoided.
